Dr. Daniel Horn: “Starting Fresh:  On the Preparation, Care, Feeding, and Inspiration of First-Year College Pianists”

As he reflects on completing 42 years on the Wheaton Conservatory piano faculty, Daniel Paul Horn will share his thoughts on how a high-school piano student can best be prepared for college-level music study — technically, musically, intellectually, and personally.  Much happens in that first freshman year, and the more they know about what to expect, the more rewarding that first year can be.
