Welcome to the homepage of the West Suburban Chapter of the Illinois State Music Teacher's Association.
The West Suburban ISMTA is committed to encourage an exchange of ideas in the field; to enrich the love & understanding of music; to raise the standards of teaching music by recognizing the training, experience and challenge necessary for professional growth.
West Suburban ISMTA membership is open to all music educators in the West Suburban Chicagoland area. Membership includes many professional piano teachers, voice teachers organ teachers and instrumental music teachers from Wheaton, Carol Stream, Winfield, Glen Ellyn, Warrenville and surrounding areas. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month during the school year at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wheaton. Illinois. Click here for information on this month's meeting and directions.
